We live and design by certain philosophies, one of them will always be: look at the lines. Strong, clean lines paired next to interesting sculptural shapes will never go out of style.
I believe in simplicity, but sometimes simplicity can be confused with boring. Paying attention to the lines of a piece is how we keep things interesting. When it comes time to furnish a home, I always tell clients the same thing: you don't need a ton of furniture. Rather, you need a handful of pieces, each with stunning, sculptural lines. These qualities make a piece interesting. A piece with interesting lines can stand on it's own - nothing else necessary. These dining chairs are the perfect example. They circle up around an oval, marble dining table. See how their lines offer something interesting to the eye? No pattern, nailheads or additional embellishment necessary. I'm not sure we'll ever get over how beautiful they turned out.
We love working with clients, coming to understand their lifestyle and designing a home to reflect it. I truly believe that no matter the client, we live better in simply designed spaces, free from clutter and with only beautiful things that we love. The key is creating interest within simple pieces, it's all in the lines.
