The art of living well and elevated entertaining go hand-in-hand. We all know the essentials of entertaining are family, friends, food, and music, but as designers, we’re also totally obsessed with the details. We love to entertain and we’re fully immersed in summer party planning right now. We think Colorado has the perfect climate for outdoor entertaining and we plan to take full advantage of the long summer nights.

We’ve gathered some of our favorites for elevated entertaining:

While we believe in timeless design overall, we’re always on the hunt for fresh ideas to take our dinner parties up a notch. We love these chic, modern glasses and think they pair well with any kind of glassware to give it updated look.

We thought we already owned all the serving bowls we’d ever need, until we spotted this gorgeous one. We love how these pieces stand out among classic white dishes and table linens.

We may not be the best cooks, but we love to look at pretty food and we find endless inspiration from foodie blogs and Instagram feeds. We’ve been following Athena Calderone’s blog for quite a while and her new cookbook Cook Beautiful is absolutely gorgeous. Two more of our favorite cookbooks right now are Savor by Ilona Oppenheim and Half Baked Harvest by Tieghan Gerard, both are filled with savory and sweet recipes, gorgeous photography, and both ladies are here in Colorado with a worldwide following. We’ve found more recipes than we can make in a lifetime on Tieghan’s blog and her mouthwatering instagram feed @halfbakedharvest.

We love to set the mood with the perfect playlist. You can keep it simple and stream your own curated songs, or make it interesting and let everyone take turns playing DJ. Either way, this is the most stylish wireless speaker we’ve ever seen.

Fresh and summery like a flower-filled English garden, one of our all time favorites, Baies by Diptyque.
