We are looking for an associate interior designer to join the Studio Thomas team. This position is for someone who can “roll up their sleeves” and handle a multitude of tasks, both large and small. Our ideal candidate is able to work both independently and as part of a team, highly motivated, extremely detail-oriented, organized, and has a desire to be involved in a fast-growing, boutique firm where they can have a large impact.

Prepare layouts and construction documents

Prepare client presentations and budgets

Attend site visits with design team, contractors, vendors, and clients

Coordinate vendors and bids with their affiliated projects

Assist with sourcing home accessories, art, and furniture specifically for our clients and unique items for our in-house inventory

Execute client installations and styling

Must be able to manage multiple projects at a time

Administrative support to senior designers

Organize and maintain project files

Highly organized, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a team are musts

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where deadlines must be met

1-2 years experience working with a high-end, residential interior design firm

Proficiency with AutoCAD and SketchUp required, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Studio Designer a plus

Must be extremely detail-oriented, proactive, a self-starter and capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to problem solve, work creatively, and enjoy a collaborative work environment
