We were contacted by this young family at the very beginning of this home’s construction and enjoyed working with them to design a fresh and modern take on a traditional home.

We selected a neutral color palette for all finishes and furniture and added elevated interior architectural details like millwork on walls and ceilings throughout the home. We customized the furniture throughout the home to maximize each living space such as built-in banquette seating in the study, a pair of sofas in the great room along with built-in window seats with custom cushions, oversized lounge chaises in the primary bedroom, and ample seating at the kitchen island.

We balanced the modern, clean lines with traditional details like herringbone tile, draperies, and touches of pattern and stripes on pillows and rugs. This home feels warm, approachable and cozy, while at the same time, modern, fresh and current.
